Please read. Please complete the application to the best of your ability. We really appreciate thoughtful and detailed answers to our questions. Upon completion, please electronically sign and submit this application. A BDR representative will be in touch with you as soon as possible; however, it may take up to 48 hours. Finally, we update our website daily; if the dog you are interested in is still posted on the website, then the dog is still available for adoption.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this application,

Boston Dog Rescue Staff

Please know. We are not a dog shelter; all of our dogs reside in foster homes. If you are interested in fostering one of the dogs available or other dogs in need, please email BDR with the subject line: Foster Opportunity. Also, we do not adopt puppies out to anyone that will be gone for more than five (5) hours a day.

Boston Dog Rescue (BDR) Process:

Home Check. BDR requires that a home check is completed before an adoption is final; there are no exceptions. We WILL NOT adopt out any dog(s) without a Boston Dog Representative visiting your home. Conducting a home check allows us to spend time with the prospective adopters and to receive a virtual tour of where the dog will be eating, sleeping and spending most if it's time. We appreciate your acceptance of this policy and look forward to scheduling a time to complete this process should you be a match with the dog you have selected.

Adoption Fee. We require an adoption fee for our dogs in the amount of $200.00. This fee covers all shots, spay/neuter, heartworm test, transport costs and, in some cases, a much needed grooming. Our adoption fee also helps us pay for food, collars, leashes and other necessities. In addition, five percent of our adoption fee goes towards the AARF Project (see home page for details). Please also know that owning a dog will require other expenses.

Signature. My signature (enter your full name and date) below indicates that I am at least 21 years of age and intend to be the legal owner and the person responsible for the care and well-being of any I adopt.
